Angela Evelyn Bassett is an American actor from the United States. Her work has earned her recognition for her TV and film performance since the 1980s. The awards she has won comprise two Golden Globe Awards, sixteen NAACP Image Awards as well as nominations for Academy Awards and Primetime Emmy Awards. Bassett was born at Winston-Salem North Carolina, raised by an Aunt who lived in New York New York. Bassett's mother had split from her father when she was about five. Bassett and her younger sister later moved into St. Petersburg Florida with their mother. Bassett watched the James Earl Jones in John Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men play while she was still at high school and decided that it was acting she wanted to do. Yale University New Haven Connecticut in which she graduated with her bachelor's in African American and master's degrees (1983). Courtney B. Vance met her at Yale In 1997, they got married. Qualification: B.A. Master of Arts (Afro-American Studies) in the year 1980. The Master of Fine Arts (Drama) from Yale School of Drama School. Angela Bassett currently works in one of her main characters, Ramonda, in the action adventure film i.e. Black Panther: Wakanda forever (2022).
